African American Greek Day at the State Capitol

Join Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., at this non-partisan event where elected officials and members of the community will dialogue around critical economic and social issues and the importance of policy engagement. The theme for this year's event is "Road to Recovery: Building Economic Security in the African American Community".
We will be joined by guest speaker Jay Williams, former Mayor of Youngstown OH and current executive director of the Federal Office of Recovery for Auto Communities. Mr. Williams was appointed to this position by President Obama in July 2011. His office is responsible for helping auto communities and workers recover from economic hardship.
